|  No Brad Pitt in M: I-4!
For those of you who hope that Brad Pitt might actually replace Tom Cruise in the Mission: Impossible series...it appears that reality bites.
In a very, very rare move, reps from Paramount made phone calls to the media firmly denying the rumors, which swirled around the industry with such force this week that most people believed it was a done deal.
For those of you who didn't see it, here's the deal: Pitt, whose Plan B production company is set at Paramount, was supposedly going to nab a record-setting $40 million up front to take over the series and portray a new character, who "puts together his own unique team of specialists."
